He's not turning his back on the Border Television mast near Selkirk, but is hurrying home to watch wonderful Eric Wallace on the local news from Carlisle

Hello, Ninian, I am Iain Walker's widow, Clare. I found this while doing some research for a biography of Iain's life to hand on to his children and four grandchildren. The obituary you have posted was written by his colleague, Alan Cochrane, who was Political Editor of the Mail on Sunday. They used to share an office, which, because they were both Scots, was known as The Jocks Box! Did you know Iain? Best wishes, Clare Walker
